Mitten Design for Maximum Warmth
The JHG49 is built as a true mitten glove — all four fingers share one insulated chamber instead of fighting the cold individually. That simple design choice traps far more body heat than any fingered glove of the same thickness, which is exactly why serious cold-weather users reach for mitten gloves when the temperature drops below freezing. The trade-off — less finger dexterity — is acceptable for gripping ski poles, handlebars, tool handles and shovel grips, where you need a firm hold more than fine motor control.
Goat-Skin Leather Palm
The entire palm and inner thumb are covered in genuine goat-skin leather. It stays supple in sub-zero temperatures, resists abrasion from poles and grips, and develops a personal fit over time. The smooth grain also sheds light snow and spindrift, so the grip surface stays dry longer than synthetic alternatives.
Waterproof Camouflage Shell
The back of the hand, cuff and outer shell use a windproof and waterproof fabric in a desert-camouflage pattern. A water-resistant membrane sits beneath the outer layer, and two waterproof zippers — one on the side pocket and one at the cuff opening — seal out snow, slush and wind while letting you open the cuff wide enough to pull the mitten gloves on over jacket sleeves.
Extended Cuff & Adjustable Strap
The long gauntlet-style cuff extends well past the wrist to eliminate gaps between glove and sleeve. An adjustable strap cinches the fit around the wrist, and elastic at the cuff opening seals snugly against the arm. Drawcords at both sides let you tighten the opening further in deep snow conditions.
3-Level Smart Temperature Control
A single button on the back of the hand cycles through three heat levels, each indicated by the number of lit LEDs. The control module runs on the same MCU platform we have refined since 2015 — fast heat-up, steady output and efficient power use. Exact temperatures and runtimes for every level are listed in the Specifications table below.
Who Is JHG49 For?
Skiers and snowboarders who run cold on lift rides, motorcycle riders who cannot afford numb hands on the highway, workers on winter construction sites or fishing boats, and anyone whose fingers stop cooperating when the mercury drops near zero. If you have tried heated gloves and still got cold fingertips, a heated mitten glove is the logical next step.

FAQ
What is the difference between a heated mitten glove and a heated glove?
A mitten glove encloses all four fingers in one shared chamber, which retains significantly more heat than separated finger stalls. The trade-off is less individual finger dexterity — fine tasks like texting or picking small items are harder. For gripping poles, handlebars and tools, most users find the warmth advantage outweighs the dexterity loss.
Can I use JHG49 mitten gloves for skiing?
Yes. The mitten-glove shape actually grips ski poles very securely — the whole palm wraps around the grip rather than individual fingers. The waterproof shell and extended cuff keep snow out even during tumbles, and the goat-skin leather palm maintains grip even when damp.
How do I know which size to order?
Measure the width of your palm (across the knuckles, excluding the thumb) and check the Size Guide above. If you fall between sizes, we recommend sizing up for easier entry and to accommodate liner gloves underneath.
Are the batteries removable and rechargeable?
Yes. The battery packs slide out for charging, so you can swap in a charged spare and keep wearing the mitten gloves while the first set charges.
What if the 3200mAh capacity on the product photo differs from the 2200mAh/3000mAh listed here?
We list 2200mAh and 3000mAh as our standard battery options across the entire J ONE heated-glove line. Actual capacity may vary by production batch — confirm the exact capacity with us before ordering.
